$20,000 Grant | First-time Homebuyer Assistance

$20K grant* toward down payment, closing costs, and rate buy-downs

*Terms and Conditions Apply. The First-time Homebuyers Assistance Program is available to eligible Utah residents who have not owned a home in the past three years and have lived in Utah for at least 12 months prior to closing. Applicants must meet income limits set by the Utah Housing loan program and be credit-qualified for a mortgage loan purchased and serviced by the Utah Housing Corporation. The program offers up to $20,000 in assistance for newly constructed homes priced at $450,000 or less. Funds may be used for down payment, closing costs, or to buy down interest rates. The assistance is provided as a 0% interest, no-payment loan, repayable upon sale or refinance of the property, with repayment amount being the lesser of the assistance received or 50% of the home’s equity at the time of sale or refinance. Program funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Talk to a Candlelight preferred lender for more details.

Smooth Process

Our lenders are very familiar with the Candlelight building process. They strive to make the experience as seamless as possible, so you feel less stress and more excitement about your new home purchase.
